Dr. Cogan’s journey began as a high school wrestler whose severe back injury could have ended his athletic career. After discovering a doctor who changed his fate, Dr. Cogan became the 105-pound freestyle state champion – and found his calling in spinal care.
Over decades, he has helped thousands of patients, including professional athletes from the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Olympic teams, with chiropractic and advanced non-invasive spinal treatments. In 2019, Dr. Cogan combined his expertise with the renowned IntraDiscNutrosis® program to form The Nerve & Disc Institute, offering innovative solutions for patients with chronic spinal and nerve conditions.

Dr. Donahue is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience in spinal care, including fusions, disc replacements, minimally invasive surgery, and complex spinal reconstruction. He graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his residency at McLaren Oakland, and fellowships at Scoliosis and Spine Surgery of Maryland under the chairman of Johns Hopkins University. He also served as a General Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy.
